resolve an issue?. I guess you didn't read anything. Bill Gates and Ballmer were trying to prevent Linux from spreading further and thus assisted Intel as much as they could. That wasn't the first time doing it. They tried to stop Walmart and Dell as well. That's uncompetitive behavior. It's not something that has been resolved as Microsoft continues to stop the advancements of Linux in government agencies around the world.
this came recently to light. At least read the story before you start kissing it.
"WE CONTINUE exploring Microsoft’s mischiefs which were intended to derail Intel’s support of GNU/Linux. We make careful use of antitrust evidence that appeared very briefly in 2007 and then pulled due to a secretive settlement. Previous posts on the subject include:"
that is not a mere mac fanboy, That is Kevin Rose. now the founder of digg.com. Bill gates should be honored.
make a contribution to the story or the community and i will shower you with bubbles. anyone who does. I earned mine twice. A mod once brought me down to 5 and the founder brought me up again.
you get a bubble but i expect you to contribute.
this whole MS trying to force intel to drop support for linux drama has been well documented. THis adds to what's going on. Too bad for microsoft Intel has released a linux OS for netbooks.
blu-ray is hardware. Sony can bundle it with who ever they want. They don't sell the platform to make PS3s to other vendors. They sell their own hardware. IF your statement was true Microsoft could have been sued for not including blu-ray. Does it make sense?
yamamato, they could but apple supplies only hardware not so much their operating system. Since apple sells their hardware with their operating system rather then just sell their operating systems to vendors it would be more tricky to pursuit.
We love you Mozilla. Pull a win for us.
I believe they call it "The Power Button" :P
you seem to have an unhealthy obsession with CG/anime characters.
i don't know if it was the plug-in but Firefox acted weird a day or so ago. I had to end the processes which was also at around 300+
this was installed with the new .net framework SP1. Part of Microsoft's auto update.

you make it sound like his teachings are no longer followed.
it's actually about Microsoft's practices. Like when they released vista they gave out Ferrari Laptops to the reviewers essentially pretty much forcing them to give good reviews about vista. Same thing with Halo 3. The article does not contain all 66 pages but it focuses on some of the things.
this is a virtual machine sort of that runs on java. i have to agree that this is an Operating System more suited for our future needs and likely the direction the current operating systems will take.
hit the via for question and answer the original source. I didn't submit it as such because it would have not passed approval. But if you want to find out more you can read here:

no it needs to be on a story or from a website not directly from youtube.
saw and conquered?

yay for carbon nanotubes
"It's pretty amazing considering it has not gone through any optimisation or refining process," says Törmä. "What actually sets the 100 nanosecond limit is not the nanotube memory, but our experimental setup, so it might be able to work at even higher speeds – we just don't know yet."
oh son, see Coke made new flavors in order to compete. Sony and samsungs make new tvs to compete with each other. Razor comes up with new technologies for the "closer shave" but when you go and try to stop another company from using another competitive product by making deals to supply them at dirt cheap prices to avoid the agency from using linux or giving them for free or even assisting them to keep them happy. In Dells case they were threaten to raise the price of XP during that ...
